Amazing

Okay here's a challenge tossed down to the lot of ya. I got to page 11. And here's a couple others I've only barely started. Found one of these on Metafilter and then each sorta led to the other. Maybe they are all some kind of supermaze, all connected, but no, that would just be too weird.

Jimi would have been 64 on Nov. 27. I always wonder what he would have been able to do with--and how much he would have enjoyed--digital technology. Here and Now on NPR "takes a look at his last album, 'The Jimi Hendrix Experience: Electric Ladyland,' and explores the history of the song, 'Voodoo Child (Slight Return).'"

And amazing is definitely the word to describe the creatures in this article. I imagine they used to live a lot higher up in the oceans, but were like "screw all this bullshit up here in the upper oceanic layer... let's get deep!" And then deep they did get.

KAO

To the left is an image-of-the-week, taken by my brother-in-law Scott while in Dan Sai, Thailand. It's called KAO, and it's from his travels in SE Asia. He and his wife Laura went there a few years ago and took some amazing photos that Scott has transformed into some incredible art.

Scott will have some photos/art on display this weekend in Brooklyn. If you've got a bit of time, go check'em out:

Soft Rock and Motomadness

Alright, now that we're back in the good ole US of A, it's time to get back to it on this page. Here's some rocks for your living room you can actually relax on.
This video's an important lesson on knowing just how much your car can handle.
And while we were in SE Asia we saw people carrying some amazing things on their motobikes. Eventually we'll have some of those images/videos up, but for now, check out this page to see just how ingeinous (insane?) people can being getting things from one place to another, on a mere 2 wheels.
Hope everyone had a good Turkeyday. I'm still in a food-coma and also in a bit of shock at the plentitude we enjoy in this country, compared to the poverty and malnourishment we saw all around us, every day.
