Drove from CT to NJ yesterday, and the day before that I just finished
1776 by David McCullough. Great read. So interesting to hear the specifics of what happened in that fateful year. It's almost hard to believe that those insane events occurred on the hills and bluffs and rivers and roads of these immediate lands. I felt a powerful connection to the birth of this country as we drove over the
Tappan Zee Bridge over the wide, wide Hudson. If you enjoy history in the least, check it out!
