400th post on this blog. Pretty cool. Never thought much about how many times I'd post but that's a nice number to see. Onward.

It is hot. Hot as in photons that physically impact my skin and cut my atoms apart and infuse them with energy. The rays slice my skin sharply but then the humid haze settles in and smothers any hope of motion or relief. It's not quite wet-electric-blanket-hot but it's getting there. And I'm not even the pregnant one.

NPR's All Songs Considered has 5 summer jazz tunes to help you stay cool. Harlem River Drive is a very smooth ride. And yes, Miles is on the list. Sick tune. Wow. Definitely listen to Red China Blues. However, I must know what my buddy Danimal thinks of all this. He knows jazz. I do not.
