Today, Tomorrow and Soon

Today a
Matisse exhibit opened at the SF MoMA. This time, though it focuses on his sculptures, rather than his paintings and drawings.
Tomorrow is the
Haight-Ashbury Street Fair. 30th Anniversary this year! They usually have lots of good vendors, but it gets very packed and very drunken by about 1pm. This year alcohol is banned and anyone with an open container "will be asked to discard it, or face a fine." Something tells me the bars are going to be packed. Lu and I usually get to the fair early and get the hell out of there before it gets crazy. Should be interesting to see how this one shakes out with the new rules.
And then I've got
BBoys on YouTube, with a song from their soon-to-be-released album. (thanks Chuck!). I really dig these new tunes. Can't wait to buy a real copy in a few days.
Oh yeah, one last thing:
new WILCO tourdates were announced last night. (thanks JP!) There's no better show than WILCO at the Greek in the summer, and they know it.
